Background and Qualifications
Andrew has worked for years in government healthcare and in nonprofit sectors at the interface between psychology, spirituality, and human wellbeing.
This has included public mental health inpatient services, public general hospitals (including emergency, intensive care, oncology, and palliative care), and residential aged care.
His work has focused on supporting people experiencing suffering and crisis, particularly in the areas of grief and loss, trauma, loss of meaning and purpose, and existential-spiritual challenges.
Andrew’s support has extended beyond patients to include meaningful contributions to the ongoing wellbeing and resilience of nursing and medical staff, and of patients’ families and loved ones.
